Taking photos in Red Bluff at the end of summer and beginning of Fall, is one of my favorite times to shoot. The days are still long, but the the weather is a big more bearable. The Fall color palette reflected in my clients outfits is so beautiful to me!
I had such a blast with this crew of people…they are SUCH a precious family. This location held special meaning, because it was a past venue for a wedding, and where a gorgeous maternity session was recently shot. I was so happy that we had this old church pew to work with for some of our group photos. Gah!

Is there anything better than an antique piece of furniture set in the middle of a bunch of dry grass?! I didn’t think so! I absolutely loved the group shots and the grandparents with their grandbabies! The color of the wood on the church pew contrasts so beautifully with the light colored grass and the Fall outfits.
Why you should consider a family session with grandparents
If you are a grandparent wanting photos with your grown children, OR are a parent wanting to include grandparents in your family shoot; I know you will cherish these images. A multigenerational session has many different groupings of combinations. Of course, we get the group shots, each individual family, kids, all the girls, all the guys, the grandparents with grandchildren, etc. I like a balanced combination of classical portrait with candid sweet moments.
