I had so much fun with these two. We got together for last minute session since baby will be arriving sometime next month! We met at a private location in Red Bluff, California. These two had SO. MUCH. CHEMESTRY!
It was an overcast day, which made for some beautiful skin tones! It can be concerning when the clouds roll in, but as long as it is only overcast and not actually raining, grey skies are just beautiful!
The sun did come out for just a brief moment and gave us some of that golden hour glow that I love!
It was an absolute joy to capture these two love birds, as they prepare to be parents! They were just so cute together. We started in a big open field with dry grass and oak trees. Then we moved up to the banks by a pond and caught some sweet moments by the water.
We found an old barn and used some of the texture of the old barn wood. I love the layering that this added to the portraits.
These two were naturals! I hardly had to tell them to gaze into each other’s eyes, they knew just what to do!
I love maternity sessions because pregnant mamas are so beautiful!
This maternity session was an absolute joy to capture! Right before the first child is born is absolutely magical! Getting to be a part of creating images that remind my clients of this precious time is just an honor!

I love being a Red Bluff Family Photographer, because our community is quite close. The more I get to know people the more, I realize that we are connected in some fashion or another!
