This Northern California Mini Session was taken in Red Bluff, California. Mini sessions are the perfect way to update family portraits.
I probably shouldn’t even call this gig a job because it gives the impression that this work is some sort of drudgery…but I just love it! Being a work at home, homeschooling, homesteading mama mean I am home a lot. It is SO refreshing to have an evening off to visit with my clients and create something beautiful!
This family especially! They have a special place in my heart! It has been about 6 years that we have been meeting annually to update family portraits. These kiddos have grown up so much since then. Seeing that just blesses me. Since it was a mini, this session was short and sweet, which was perfect for these ages.
How to prep for your Northern California Fall Mini Session
- Plan coordinating outfits you feel fabulous in!
- Leave with enough time to avoid rushing to our location
- Get a good night sleep
- Come prepared (touch up supplies, snacks, etc.)
Northern California Fall Mini Session 2022
This is the first year that I spread my mini sessions out over the month of October. In the past, I had them all scheduled on one weekend. I constantly struggled with getting the perfect light for my clients, not to mention the crazy work load, post mini session weekend!
Having mini sessions sprinkled throughout the month of October really has been working out well for me. I look forward to doing it more in the future! I only offer limited mini sessions twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring.
