This Fall Mini Session was taken by Northern California family photographer, Brianna Phelps in Red Bluff, California.

This Fall session was taken on one of the first days it actually FELT like Fall! October can still have some pretty hot dry days in Northern California, but on this scheduled session date, it was moody and overcast.

Sun peeked through the clouds right towards the end, which made for some gorgeous sunset photos as well!

Fall clothing colors look so beautiful on camera! This deep wine red color is one of my favorites! This family even brought their sweet dog “Taco”!

He has made an appearance in almost every shoot that I have done for this family. I love when clients bring their pets to their sessions with me. They are part of the family too!

Why I love being a Northern California family photographer
- Mild weather makes it easy to continue on outdoor sessions late into the season.
- Getting to know my community. I absolutely love getting to know my clients and watch their family grow year after year.
- Variety of scenery. Here in Northern California we have so many backdrops to work with that taking portraits is always interesting.

This was a mini session, which is a great option if you just need a few updated portraits and have very young children. If you are interesting in knowing more of the difference between a full and mini session you can check out my article here, to see which would be the best fit for you!
