This Spring senior session in Red Bluff, CA was taken in April on a gorgeous cloudy day and ended with a sunset.
This session was almost rescheduled due to the rain but at the last minute the rain cleared so we took a chance and kept it on the schedule. We were rewarded for taking a risk. At the beginning of this Spring session, we had awesome clouds as a backdrop and towards the end the sun peeked through the trees and gave us that beautiful golden hour glow. Weather can be so unpredictable during spring bookings but for this senior session, it paid off!
I was absolutely thrilled! It isn’t every day that I get to shoot one session with so many different looks. Kaylee was just the perfect model for these wide-open Red Bluff fields. She brought a variety of darling outfits that were so flattering and cute on her. At this specific location we had access to gorgeous green fields, a forested area, and a country road. We used every bit of landscape that was available!
During senior sessions, I enjoy knowing more about the future plans of my subject. Kaylee is such an ambitious girl that was so fun to be around!

This time of year makes me so grateful to live in Red Bluff, CA. Spring is an absolutely beautiful time to have photos taken. As the photographer I enjoy my job so much with such a gorgeous landscape. I can get excited about shooting in pretty much any setting, but a big wide open field will always has my heart.
